INGREDIENTS

2 pounds (1 kg) king crab legs

1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature, and softened

1 tsp Sriracha

1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tbsp sugar

3 dashes smoked paprika and more for dusting

1 tbsp chopped parsley and/or chives

HOW TO MAKE BAKED KING CRAB

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees F or 207 degrees C.

Step 2: Into shorter segments, cut the legs of the king crab using a pair of scissors. In lengthwise, cut the leg segments of the crab, exposing the crab meat. Or you can just cut the top part of the shell, exposing the crab meat.

Step 3: In a baking tray, arrange the ling crab legs. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes. To keep the crab from drying out, cover them with aluminium foil.

Step 4: To make the Sriracha Lemon Butter, beat the softened butter with a whisk. Add the Sriracha along with the lemon juice and sugar. Mix well until combined and set aside.

Step 5: When done, remove the crab from the oven. Right away spoon the butter over the crab meat and sprinkle with extra smoked paprika. Before serving, garnish with some chopped parsley and/or chives. Enjoy immediately.
