CHEESE AND BACON SWIRLS

Ingredients:

1 pack all-butter puff pastry

5 back bacon rashers, sliced into 1-centimetre strips

3/4 tub cream cheese

75 grams cheddar, grated

1 onion, diced

A handful of parsley, chopped

Salt & pepper to season

1 Egg, beaten

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 355 degrees F or 180 degrees C.

Step 2: Line with baking paper a baking sheet.

Step 3: Spread the cream cheese all over the rolled-out puff pastry.

Step 4: Sprinkle onion, cheddar cheese, parsley, bacon rashers, salt, and pepper on top.

Step 5: Make a swiss roll by rolling up the end.

Step 6: Slice it into 1-inches with a sharp knife.

Step 7: Arrange them onto the prepared baking sheet.

Step 8: Brush egg wash all over.

Step 9: Place the baking sheet inside the preheated oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

Step 10: Remove from the oven and allow them to cool at room temperature.

Step 11: Serve and enjoy!
