Chocolate Pecan Cheesecake Pie

1 refrigerated pie crust

1 cup dark chocolate chips

3 tablespoon whipping cream

8 ounces cream cheese

3/4 cup sugar, divided

2 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 Eggs

1/4 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoon melted butter

1 cup light corn syrup

1 1/2 cups pecan halves


Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.

Step 2: In a deep-dish pie plate, place the crust and spread it evenly.

Step 3: In a small mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 egg, and salt. Beat until well mixed and creamy.

Step 4: In a microwavable-safe dish, add in the dark chocolate chips and whipping cream. Place it inside the microwave and heat for 1 minute until melted completely.

Step 5: Remove from the microwave and stir until well mixed.

Step 6: In a medium mixing bowl, add the melted butter, 3 eggs, corn syrup, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 7: Fold in the pecans and stir until well combined.

Step 8: Transfer the chocolate mixture into the pie crust and use a spatula to spread it evenly.

Step 9: Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chocolate mixture and use a spatula to flatten it out.

Step 10: Spread the pecan mixture over the cream cheese layer.

Step 11: Place the pie plate inside the preheated oven and bake for 55 minutes or until done.
