Servings: 12 | Yield: 12 servings

This Cherry Cobbler is so refreshing to eat. If you are a fan of fruity desserts, this will suit you nicely. A big thanks to my Grandma for teaching me this easy and simple recipe. This has been a part of our family since I was a kid. She used to bake this on special occasions. We love it all the time! Now, I get to share it with you, friends! Feel free to add more ingredients if you feel like it. You can use different kinds of fruits for this recipe. How awesome is that? Anyway, I hope this somehow brings a smile on your face. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

½ cup butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup milk

1 (21 ounces) can cherry pie filling

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 135 degrees C or 275 degrees F.

Step 2: Add the margarine or butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Place inside the preheated oven and allow it to melt.

Step 3: In a medium mixing bowl, add the baking powder, sugar, and flour. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 4: Pour in milk and stir until well blended.

Step 5: Remove the baking dish from the oven and add in the flour mixture and fruit. Do not stir.

Step 6: Turn the heat of the oven to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 7: Place the pan inside the oven and bake for about 50 to 60 minutes or until the colour turns golden brown.

Step 8: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.

Step 9: Serve and enjoy!
