Fried cabbage with pickled pig tails!

1 large cabbage (chopped) Pickled pig tails

1/3 cup chicken stock

1/2 small chopped onion

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 Tbsp Tony’s creole seasoning

Red pepper flakes

Wash then boil pig tails for about an hour.

Add a small amount of bacon fat to a heavy pan and sautee half a small chopped onion.

Stir a couple minutes until onions began to get translucent then add cabbage, garlic powder, creole seasoning, red pepper flakes and cook about 10 minutes stirring occasionally.

Add the pig tails, chicken stock , give it a stir, reduce heat cover and let cook for about 30 minutes or until cabbage is tender to your liking.

FYI: You can use whatever meat you like…sausage, smoked turkey, neck bones etc….Or you can totally omit the meat and guess what, have as much as you like because cabbage is keto friendly😉
