FROZEN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH BALLS ARE THE SUMMER TREAT YOU DESERVE
This recipe has always been a part of my family since I was little. It was passed on to us by my Grandma. Oh, man, you should have seen her worked around the kitchen. She was a wizard! Yeah, she can turn simple recipes into great recipes, like this one! You have got to give this one a try, it is a must-try! I have listed all the ingredients and directions so all you have to do is to follow them step by step and you are good to go! As perfect as this recipe is, feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. I am sure that there are a lot of things you can do with this recipe! You can decorate them to your preference. Ingredients:
1 c butter, softened
1 ½ c brown sugar, packed
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp water
2 c all-purpose flour
¾ c mini semisweet chocolate chips
¾ c chopped walnuts if desired
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, add the sugar and butter. Beat until well blended.
Add flour, water, vanilla, walnuts, and chocolate chips. Stir until well combined.
Form small balls out of the dough. You can use your hands or an ice cream scoop for this step.
Arrange the balls onto a baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet inside the freezer for at least 2 hours or until the balls are firm.
Serve and enjoy!
Note:
Place any leftovers in a resealable plastic bag, then place them inside the freezer.
