I love how simple this recipe is. All you need are this very basic set of ingredients to make such a delicious cake! The rich flavours in this cake are just too perfect! 1 box chocolate cake mix, prepared according to package instructions
2 c heavy cream(480 ml)
16 ounces dark chocolate(455 g)
cocoa powder, for dusting, to serve
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Add the cake mix into a large mixing bowl. Refer to the directions provided on the package on how to prepare it.
Apply cooking spray into a Bundt pan.
Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.
Place a small saucepan on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add heavy cream and heat until it starts to boil.
In a mixing bowl, add the dark chocolate. Transfer the hot cream over the chocolate. Stir until well blended.
Flip over the cake onto a clean serving plate.
Pour the chocolate ganache in the middle and let it overflow until the cake is coated.
Sprinkle cocoa powder on top.
Allow the cake to rest for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
Slice into even pieces.
