GONE TO HEAVEN CHOCOLATE PIE

Directions:

Refer to the directions provided on the package of the pie shell on how to bake it.

Remove from the oven and allow it to cool.

Place a saucepan on the stove. Add the cornstarch, sugar, and salt. Turn the heat to medium, then stir everything until well mixed.

Meanwhile, add milk and egg yolks into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well mixed.

Pour the egg mixture into the pan with the flour mixture and stir until well combined. Allow the mixture to boil.

Remove the pan from the heat, then add vanilla and butter. Stir until well blended.

Add the chocolate chips and stir until well combined and melted completely.

Transfer the mixture into the baked pie shell, then wrap it with plastic.

Place it inside the fridge to chill for a couple of hours.

Garnish with the rest of the chocolate chips and whipped cream.

Serve and enjoy!
