Green Beans and Potatoe

Sausage, Potatoes and French Green Beans


Ingredients:
1 white onion, chopped
1 (13 oz.) beef smoked sausage, cut lengthwise than cut into 1/2 moon 
salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 potatoes, chopped
2 cups chicken broth
1 (14.5 oz.) can french green beans, drained
black pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil



Directions:
Heat oil in deep skillet over medium heat, add onions, salt, crushed red pepper, bay leaf, garlic powder and smoked sausage, stirring, cook until onions are soft. 

Add potatoes and sprinkle salt. Add chicken broth, bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer 10 minutes, until tender. Stir in french green beans, sprinkle with black pepper, cook another 5 minutes.
