2 tablespoons Olive Oil

2 pounds Lean Ground Beef or Ground Turkey

1 large Yellow Onion, diced

3 large cloves Garlic, pressed or finely minced

2 Bay Leaves

1 c Low Sodium Beef Broth* (chicken broth if using ground turkey)

2 – 14.5 oz cans Diced Tomatoes with juice

2 – 15 oz cans Tomato Sauce

2 teaspoons Low Sodium Soy Sauce (or Worcestershire sauce)

2 teaspoons Seasoned Salt (such as Johnny’s®)

1 teaspoon Black Pepper

2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning

1 tablespoon Paprika

2 c Uncooked Small Elbow Macaroni

Place a large pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Add oil and allow it to become hot.

Add the ground meat and cook for 10 minutes or until brown. Discard any excess grease.

Add the garlic, onion, and bay leaves. Sauté for about 4 minutes or until aromatic and translucent.

Add the sliced tomatoes, broth, soy sauce, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

Turn the heat down to low and cover the pot with a lid.

Stir and cook for 15 minutes.

Add the uncooked noodles and stir until well mixed.

Cover the pot again and cook the noodles for about 20 minutes.

Remove from the heat and remove the bay leaves.

Serve hot and enjoy!

Feel free to add more broth if you want this to become a soup.
