Directions:
Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add ground beef, onion, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook until brown. Discard any excess grease.
Add taco seasoning and garlic powder. Stir until well combined.
Add the rice, corn, tomato sauce, broth, and salsa. Stir until well mixed.
Allow the mixture to boil, then cover and turn the heat down to low. Simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is soft.
Add cheese over the rice and cover again. Allow the cheese to melt. This will take about 3 minutes.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes:
Feel free to use any kind of rice for this recipe. Adjust the cooking time.
