A crazy delicious Lasagne that is simply the best homemade version of all time! Made with luscious homemade Bechamel Sauce, rich and tender Beef Ragu, and melty cheese. A delightful dish perfect for every occasion!
Ingredients
Ragu:
2.2 pounds (1kg) Ground Beef
3.5 ounces (100 grams) Pancetta, finely diced
2 c. (500ml) Tomato Passata (Pureed Tomatoes in the USA)
2 c. (500ml) Beef Stock
1 c. (250ml) Red Wine
2 ribs of Celery, finely diced
2 medium Carrots, grated on a box grater
1 large White Onion, finely diced
3 cloves of Garlic, minced
2 tablespoons Tomato Puree (Tomato Paste in the USA)
2 Bay Leaves
1/4 c. each: Fresh Basil, Fresh Parsley, finely diced (plus extra to garnish)
1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
1.5 teaspoons sugar, or to taste
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Olive Oil, as needed
