° 1 1/2 pounds strawberries, cut into quarters
° 5 tablespoons of sugar
° 2 cups all-purpose flour
° 2 teaspoons baking powder
° 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
° 2 tablespoons of sugar
° 3/4 teaspoon salt
° 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
+ Whipped cream:
° 1 1/2 cups chilled heavy cream
° 3 tablespoons of sugar
° 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
° 1 teaspoon grated fresh lemon peel

Placing mixture in an ungreased 8-inch square skillet and bake until golden, 18 to 20 minutes.Remove the cookie from the pan and place on a rack to cool slightly. Cut into 6 pieces and divide each piece in half horizontally.Put a few strawberries and their juice on the bottom of each small cake. Put a large amount of whipped cream on top, then a layer of small cake.
