Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Place a large pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the beef and sear for about 3 minutes or until brown. Break the meat into chunks.
Add the oregano, basil, crushed red pepper flakes, fennel seeds, and salt. Stir until well mixed and aromatic. Discard any excess grease.
Add the marinara sauce and stir until well blended.\
Add the egg and salt into the ricotta container and stir until well combined.
Add the noodles into the sauce and toss until well coated.
Spread about 1 1/2 cup of the meat sauce onto the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Put the noodles over the sauce.
Add 1/3 of the provolone slices, 1/4 mozzarella, 1/4 of Parmesan cheese, and 1/3 of the ricotta mixture.
Repeat the procedure until everything is arranged in layers.
Top everything with the lasagna noodles and the rest of the cheeses.
Cover everything with aluminium foil.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes.
Remove from the oven and bake for 10 more minutes or until the cheese turns brown.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature for at least 25 minutes.
Sprinkle parsley on top.
