This pie is actually half brownie and half pecan pie. It is an amazing dessert that is actually easy to make.
Ingredients
- 1 pie crust dough (1 round pie crust is about 7 oz.)
Brownie layer:
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg room temperature
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp buttermilk
- pinch of salt
Pecan pie layer:
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/3 cup butter melted
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs room temperature
