If you are looking for a new and easy recipe to try for today, then you have got to give this one a try! This Chicken Pot Pie has always been my comfort food! I remember my Grandma used to cook this for me when I was a little kid. I am so grateful to her for teaching me this recipe because now, I get to share it with you as well. How awesome is that? Ingredients:
2 c chicken, cooked and shredded
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c sour cream
1 c cheddar cheese, shredded
1 ½ c of mixed frozen vegetables
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 12ounces can refrigerated biscuits
Directions:
Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
Add all the ingredients aside from the biscuits into a large mixing bowl. Stir everything until well combined.
Slice each of the biscuits into four.
Add the biscuits into the bowl with the chicken mixture. Stir until well combined.
Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
Transfer the chicken-biscuit mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread it evenly.
Place it inside the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until the top turns golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature for a few minutes.
