* Ingredients :
°1 1/2 pounds (675 g) lean ground beef
°1 onion finely chopped
°1 small red pepper, seeded // finely chopped
°15 ml (1 tsp) chili powder
°5 ml (1 tsp) dry mustard
°30 ml (2 tsps) olive oil
°60 ml tomato paste
°2 garlic clove, finely minced
°250 ml (1 cup) chicken broth
°1/2 cup (125 ml) hot pepper sauce
°30 ml (2 tsp) white vinegar
°30 ml (2 tsp) brown sugar
° Salt // Pepper
°4 hamburger buns
°1 1/2 cups (375 ml) sharp yellow cheddar cheese
* Preparation :
In a large skillet, saute meat, onion, pepper and spices in oil. Salt and Pepper.
Add tomato paste and garlic and continue to cook for 1 minute, stirring.
Add the rest of the ingredients except bread and cheese and bring to a boil.
Covering & simmer on low heat about 15 min ..
Toast the bread and weigh it with the meat and cheese mixture.
